THE PRESENTATION
OF
CAPRI DIEM
CAPRI · 14 SEPTEMBER 2019

The novel CAPRI DIEM was presented on Capri in September 2019 in the garden of Hotel Syrene, set within its atmospheric lemon grove, on the occasion of the publication of the Italian edition. Both the Italian and English editions were available at the presentation.
Participating in the presentation were Marilicia Salvia, Neapolitan journalist and former deputy chief editor of Il Mattino; Kendra Langeteig, PhD, editor of the English manuscript; and Mariano D’Ambrosio, PhD, translator of the Italian edition.
Editor: Kendra Langeteig, PhD
Working with Kendra was a stroke of luck. Her patient guidance, enthusiastic encouragement and insightful critiques helped shape CAPRI DIEM. She lives in Washington State, while her family roots reach back to Langeteig on the west coast of Norway.
Italian translator: Mariano D’Ambrosio, PhD
Translator and scholar of comparative literature, with a degree from the Sorbonne. With family roots in Naples, he lives in Paris. His Italian translation of CAPRI DIEM was praised by Marilicia Salvia in her review of the novel.
